Thank God for those who have the brilliant idea inventing diapers. It really is helping the new mom a lot.
But then, why is it so expensive?
Andra used 2 differents brands of diaper. He wears Mamypoko during the day and Pampers All nite Long during bedtime. The price tag is unbearable. Mamypoko Size M44, the price is 89.900 rupiah, and Pampers Size M40 is 70.000. Per month I bought 3 packs of Mamypoko and one pack of Pampers.
There are plenty of diaper brands in the store, lets name Huggies, Sweety Pants, Soft Love, and other, with differents price of course. And the winner is MamyPoko. Comparing to others, Mamypoko is the expensive one. My curiousity ends by asking the SPG about the different between Mamypoko and the others. She said that Mamypoko made by cotton while the rest is plastic. Hmmmm...am not sure that her answer is the correct one. Coz for me, every brands seem made from plastic. Try to touch them....
Diapers are really helpful. However, am using diapers when Andra was 4 months old. Everybody think that am way too late. Am aware that each brands have their newborn product diapers. But, since am living with my mom and that she believe in old way, we used fabric diapers. Actually, it was a good way of learning when you have to change the fabric diapers. Coz Andra moved a lot when his fabric diapers wet (We wrapped Andra with Gedong). So sometimes we missed when he pee. Then we learnt that whenever he moved, it’s an indication that he just pee. Quiet unique, hey?
